I live in Venice, California and have been painting for the last 26 years.  I've taken classes around Los Angeles but mostly paint in my little studio in the backyard.  (That's me painting in Amsterdam.)   For a Still Life to evoke a feeling, a mood or just to be arresting in some way is what I strive to achieve.  I love painting with oil as it feels magical and beautiful as it creates the images I'm looking at in its own unique way.
